Planning and Development
Planning and development includes work with other agencies to address economic development and land use issues of mutual concern, as well as planning for development and management of existing and newly acquired Tribal properties. Current projects include:
- Small Homes Development Project
- Polson West Development Project
- Value-Added Meat Processing Feasibility Study and Business Plan
- Gray Wolf (Mobile Home) Park Management at Evaro
- Culturally-Appropriate Tourism Development
- Coordination with Lake and Missoula County Land Planning Staff - includes review and comment on land use plans, policies and regulations; annual meetings with Missoula County officials, Lake County planning board representation
- An Update of the Flathead Reservation Comprehensive Resources Plan
